Members from 4-H clubs across the island are able to apply each year for a 5-10 day camping trip each year called Surviving the Challenge. Members get to meet new people from across Vancouver Island and participate in different challenges, such as team building activities, canoeing, rock climbing, and hiking. Each year members admit that they are nervous heading into the camp as they may not know anyone else. But year after year once the trip is complete we hear nothing but rave reviews! Each member has always recommended that others give this a try!
