The Cowichan 4-H Holstein Club has been in existence since 1953 and is still going strong.

Our club meets once monthly either virtually or in person to discuss general business of the club, and provide information about upcoming events. Throughout the year our club members have the opportunity to try public speaking, create educational display boards, demonstrations, speak and shows, and judging rally's.

 

We offer demonstrations on how to tie a rope halter properly, how to properly wash a calf, how to judge a cow, and how to clip an animal. As summer progresses we attend the Vancouver Island Holstein Show, Cobble Hill Fair, Maple Ridge Fair, and the Cowichan Exhibition.

Our year ends with an awards evening where we invite our club sponsors, and members are recognized for their efforts throughout the year.
